I think most of cyber guys here like to read manga. Let say all of my programmer friends like to read them. So, if you are Manga fan, you should known One Manga, and the sad news in last August 2010. I also shocked as well, there were few manga sites has been banned and forced to stop display scanned manga. I was blank for a while until several weeks ago, I search in Google by chance is there any One Manga alternatives, and Bingo! Hello DomDomSoft Manga Downloader.
One Manga Downloader (Obsoleted)
I was reading One Manga for few years. Sometimes it's not easy to get local comic books in my area, and it's not latest update. Another reason is I can force myself to learn more English by reading comics. I do not intend to read it illegally and do not pay for it. But at least I can see before I buy which one are my favorites. My Linux Geek friend introduced me One Manga Downloader, but it's a shell script running on Linux.

DomDomSoft Manga Downloader (Windows)
Some manga viewer sites are very good websites to read manga online. But they don’t have a download section. Some people would prefer downloading from such sites because of reasons such as having low-speed internet or wanting to store manga. DomDomSoft Manga Downloader is just the software that helps you do it.

Our Manga Downloader (Linux)
During I'm writing this article and refer back to the author's site of One Manga Downloader, I just realized that he wrote another script for Our Manga!!! I didn't try Our Manga before, and just figured out that there are many rare manga I like here as well. This downloader is based on previous One Manga Downloader, So you can use this wiki page as a reference.

CDisplayEx - Ultimate Comics Reader
When you download manga to your PC, it compressed to cbz format or comic archive file. Then you just need another light weight comic reader to read it. My choice is CDisplayEx.
CDisplayEx is a Comic reader based on CDisplay. It use the popular 7-zip plugins to read many archives types like cbr cbz cbt rar zip tar 7z lzh arj cab tar.gz tar.bz2. It supports jpeg png gif and bmp images.

Conclusion
There are still many manga sites survive from last August 2010 incident. I think I prefer Our Manga because there are my favorite rare manga. For Manga Downloader, if you are Linux user, and familiar with bash shell script, you can go for Our Manga Downloader. If you are Windows user, you can go for DomDomSoft Downloader, it supports Our Manga anyway.
